so net-gain of having social democrats in power in sweden? higher taxes (across the board) youth crime at an all time high, massive gang related crime, Even worse healthcare, budget deficit and citizen political participation at an all time low — youth parties show a 90% decline in membership over a ten year period.
this all over a period of 73 years, or well. arguably 10 since Goran Persson made such a devious good job.
I mean, solidarity is all about buying a big mansion overlooking the landscape like the old patron villa in a cotton plant back in the 18th century. or say going to work for one of the largest lobbying firms in existance. but hey, that’s solidarity- now go look at those bad conservatives. boo raising the union tax, boo.
so what have the “right wing conservative alliance†made happen since coming to power?
oh let’s just stick with things that people would notice. like, raised salaries, exponential improvement in healthcare, tax reform underway (decrease, yay) and the regretable raising of the union taxes — imho, the swedish unions are good for one singular thing. marketing the social democrats to the masses.
so, who do the Swedish people still root for? The Social Democrats.
I swear, the conservative Alliance needs someone to copywrite and dumb down their press meetings.
